Job Summary
Solutions Engineer for Akuity focused on supporting prospects and customers through technical evaluation cycles. Responsibilities include engaging in technical discussions throughout the buying lifecycle, delivering high-impact presentations and tailored demos, creating sample solutions and use cases to showcase platform capabilities, collecting detailed customer requirements for accurate scoping and resource planning, and serving as a trusted technical advisor advocating for customer needs within cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver exceptional customer experiences, with a remote-first expectation across the US/Canada and quarterly travel.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or related role OR a BS in Computer Science with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, infrastructure, and cloud environments
- Interest in Argo, Kargo, Kubernetes, Terraform, and the broader cloud-native ecosystem
- Excellent communication skills with ability to craft compelling demonstrations
- Ability to engage with customers onsite and remotely to support evaluations
- Willingness to collaborate with Sales to build and execute go-to-market strategies
