Job Summary
Solutions Engineer partners with prospects and existing customers to understand their business and technical needs, demonstrate value of MoneyThumb solutions, and ensure successful implementation and ongoing adoption. They bridge customer requirements and technical solutions, delivering expert guidance throughout the customer journey. Responsibilities include serving as the primary technical advisor across the lifecycle, guiding setup, integration, and ongoing use of MoneyThumb APIs, collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to develop solutions, conducting product demonstrations and technical workshops, answering questions on architecture, security, and integrations, recommending solutions aligned with product capabilities, gathering and communicating customer feedback, contributing to technical documentation and knowledge resources, staying current on products and industry trends, and owning the technical evaluation phase on complex deals. The role also involves identifying technical champions, maintaining familiarity with competitive solutions, and supporting creation of training materials and demo assets, while remaining adaptable to occasional travel and remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Implementation Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role
- Experience working with APIs, web services, and system integrations
- Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud-based technologies
- Experience supporting enterprise customers
- Experience working with JSON, XML, and CSV data
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Lending, particularly business-lending or mortgage-lending
- Experience working on government deals, RFP’s, RFI’s.
