Job Summary
Solutions Engineer (Mid-Market) at Box Japan, responsible for delivering technical demonstrations, PoC support, RFP and security-audit coordination, and translating customer needs into product feedback for Box's ICMS/AI-enabled platform. Role involves presenting Box value propositions to customers and partners, creating persuasive proposal materials, enabling integrations with Microsoft, Salesforce, and Google Workspace, and driving account plans with sales, CS, and consultants. Must deepen understanding of ICMS, AI applications, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate customer success and business growth. Office-based in Tokyo with a requirement to work on-site several days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years IT industry experience
- 2+ years pre-sales experience or experience as project manager/IT consultant proposing solutions to enterprises
- Familiarity with cloud, infrastructure, middleware, applications, security (one or more)
- Ability to identify problems and propose solutions
- English and Japanese language proficiency
