Job Summary
Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and articulate Otter’s value to customers. Provide technical expertise through value-driven sales presentations and customized product demonstrations. Qualify opportunities based on technical fit and customer needs. Own the execution of technical evaluations in customer environments (Proof of Value). Assist Account Executives in closing opportunities by applying Otter technology to create customer value. Understand customer challenges and competitive landscape; share insights with product teams to influence roadmap. Collaborate with Sales teams and leverage technical know-how for pipeline generation and messaging. Travel to meet customers and partners, participate in internal meetings and industry events. Assist Implementation with successful deployment of Otter POS and related products and services. This role is based in the Los Angeles office with in-person work required 5 days a week (except for field-based roles). Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 with additional incentive compensation potential and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer
- Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions
- Ability to forge strong relationships with senior executives
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Technical background with understanding of software development and web technologies
- Willingness to travel
