Job Summary
Solutions Engineer in Europe focusing on pre-sales and post-sales support for Lago's billing platform; responsibilities include technical discovery calls, bespoke demonstrations, end-to-end evaluations and trials, dealing with API integrations, and guiding customers through onboarding and go-live, with emphasis on understanding billing architectures, pricing models, and collaboration with AEs and leadership; requires deep API knowledge, ability to articulate technical and commercial value, and autonomous management of multiple deals and implementations; remote-first in Europe with a salary range of 60k-90k EUR per year.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales role
- Strong technical foundation: REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and integration architectures
- Demonstrated experience running complex evaluations and POCs with enterprise or mid-market prospects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English (French is a significant plus)
- Track record of collaborating closely with AEs and founders in a fast-moving sales environment
- Ability to manage multiple active deals and customer implementations simultaneously
