Job Summary
Solutions Engineer, Financial Services focused on AI Runtime Security for Tier-1/2 FS customers. You will drive the sales motion with Enterprise Account Executives, design tailored architectures mapping F5's AI security capabilities to complex FS environments (hybrid cloud, legacy cores, data platforms), and deliver high-impact demos of inference-layer protection, model red-teaming, and agent defense to influence FS-appropriate security and compliance outcomes. You will serve as a domain expert on AI/model risk, operational resilience, and regulatory frameworks, lead technical responses for RFIs/RFPs and security questionnaires, and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to relay field feedback. You will support onboarding of new wins with architectural documentation and handovers to Customer Success. Prioritize strong communication to translate AI security challenges for both technical teams and executives. Desired background includes experience supporting global banks or payment networks, or a background in software/ML engineering before moving into customer-facing roles. Successful candidates will demonstrate market impact through quick POC execution, rapid value adoption of AI security use cases, and high-quality solution designs that satisfy FS security reviews and penetration-test findings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Security Architect, or similar) within enterprise B2B SaaS
- Strong background in cybersecurity and AI, with hands-on understanding of LLMs, inference-layer guardrails, and data protection in production environments
- Practical familiarity with FS reference architectures, risk management, and compliance topics such as AML/KYC and data privacy
- Ability to translate complex AI security challenges into simple, actionable narratives for technical teams and non-technical executives
