Solutions Engineer - F5 Distributed Cloud

Job Summary
Articulate F5 Distributed Cloud strategy, messaging, and value propositions to customer business objectives. Deliver technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept via in-person, virtual, or whiteboard sessions. Determine opportunity viability, map organizational structures, and drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager by identifying technical decision-makers and securing their validation and sponsorship. Provide world-class customer service throughout the customer lifecycle while collaborating with internal technical and sales resources to share best practices and seek expertise as needed. Requires 8+ years in secure cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD experience, multi-cloud design, and proficiency with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Prometheus.
Required Qualifications
- 8 + years of related industry experience
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience
- Experience in secure Cloud architectures in: AWS, Azure, GCP or other public clouds
- CI/CD experience (automate build and test pipelines with GitOps, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with multi-cloud design
- Experience with cloud instrumentation and configuration management tools for deployment such as GKE, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- Experience with application-related products such as DNS, load balancers, web application firewalls, API security, content delivery networks, and more
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Datadog and Grafana
- Experience in software development in Go, Python, Ruby, scripting, languages
- Hybrid: Employees within 30 commutable miles of an F5 office are required to work from the office a minimum of 30 business days per quarter
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity/experience with F5 or similar industry solution deployment a plus
