Job Summary
Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with prospect tech teams, Enterprise Architects, and CTOs to map commerce architectures and pain points. Design composable solution blueprints, proactively prototype light integrations, and build high-impact live demonstrations tailored to senior stakeholders using AI capabilities. Author technical proposals for RFI and RFP processes while collaborating with Go-To-Market, Product, and Engineering teams to assess feasibility and influence roadmaps. Work remotely from anywhere in Germany with travel for customer meetings, primarily in the DACH region.
Required Qualifications
- Native German speaker
- Excellent business-fluent English (written and spoken)
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting within B2B enterprise SaaS environments
- Comfortable with microservices, APIs, cloud-native technology, and basic scripting/frontend frameworks (e.g., React)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Curious, eager-to-learn, pragmatic builder, autonomous, and comfortable thinking on your feet in dynamic customer engagements
- Warm, relatable, and an exceptional communicator
- Open to and genuinely enjoying business travel as needed for customer and partner meetings (mainly DACH), industry events, and internal team syncs

Desired Qualifications
- Strong, hands-on background in Digital Commerce / E-Commerce (B2B, B2C, or Headless/Composable architectures)
- Experience with BPMN / Workflow Engines or process automation tools
- Hands-on experience working with AI agent frameworks or prompt engineering in sales engineering workflows
- Prior experience in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment
