Job Summary
Solutions Engineer, Energy Storage role focused on bridging commercial and engineering for Redwood’s energy storage customers. Responsibilities include acting as a technical resource in customer conversations (including on-site visits and technical feasibility discussions), collaborating with customers on initial system design concepts, site integration requirements, and project scoping, supporting commercial proposal development with SLDs, system layout concepts, and inputs to pricing/capacity models, and building deep expertise in Redwood’s energy storage products (battery chemistry, pack configurations, system architecture, degradation characteristics, and performance parameters). The role partners with engineering teams to surface customer feedback and inform the development roadmap, and enables the commercial team to operate independently on technical matters. Desirable qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, willingness to travel to customer sites, autonomy in decision-making, and the ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally but also to represent Redwood’s technical capabilities credibly to external customers and translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
