Job Summary
Solutions Engineer who partners with the Sales Team to drive all technical aspects of the sales process. Deliver product presentations and demonstrations illustrating how Salt's API security solution addresses critical business issues, develop relationships with the customer's technical staff, and earn trust through deep technical knowledge. Lead strong proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate business value and technical benefits, align technical requirements with customer business drivers alongside Account Executives, coordinate and deliver RFP/I/Q responses and technical architecture solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Presales experience selling security solutions
- Understanding of APIs, API Gateways, microservices and cloud-native technologies
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and Load Balancers
- Technical curiosity, including the willingness to learn new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel within your region as required
