Job Summary
Translate complex customer Standard Operating Procedures into precise, custom workflows within Airspace's core platform, configuring mobile workflows for field drivers to ensure every order activity executes correctly. Partner with onboarding, operations, and product teams to gather requirements, clarify ambiguity, and validate that configurations reflect real operational intent. Rigorously test and validate workflows before deployment, identifying edge cases and iterating as customer needs evolve. Build reusable workflow components and templates to standardize configuration across verticals, while tracking adherence, automation rates, and service-level performance to drive up the share of orders running on auto-pilot. Own the metrics proving configurations work as intended, feeding insights back to continuously refine procedures for mission-critical delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, implementation, systems configuration, business analysis, or a comparable role that bridges customer requirements and a technical platform
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Comfort working with structured data and configuration logic (e.g., JSON, rules engines, conditional/branching logic)
- Strong communication and requirements-gathering skills, with the ability to interview stakeholders and customers to surface the real process beneath a written SOP
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Location: Carlsbad, CA preferred. Open to remote in US
Desired Qualifications
- A proven background taking complicated SOPs and parsing them into actionable process flow diagrams or structured workflows
- Familiarity with process-mapping tools (e.g., BPMN, Lucidchart, Visio)
- Logistics, supply chain, or operations experience
- Manager aspirations
