Solutions Engineer

Solutions Engineer in 8x8's CPaaS Solution Engineering team, based in Singapore, focusing on bridging business needs and technology throughout the sales cycle. You will be the technical point of contact during discovery calls, create customised demonstrations, understand customer challenges, and propose solutions. You will manage PoC and trials, own technical sales processes, and provide direct support for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs. You will conduct client visits for presentations and training, participate in trade shows occasionally, monitor competitors, and maintain detailed engagement notes to share learnings with the team. The role requires hands-on consultative selling of a CPaaS product, strong API/Mobile Messaging/Cloud/Mobile tech knowledge, and technical leadership within the account team. Experience with AI-assisted tools to prototype demos and integrations, familiarity with LLMs and agentic AI in real workflows, and strong English communication are essential; Mandarin/Chinese fluency is highly advantageous. The position emphasizes ownership, cross-team coordination, and the ability to drive projects and apply solutions to business opportunities. The schedule is Hybrid (3 days in office).
