Job Summary

Solutions Director for the TIME product line within Tempus’ Trials Business Unit. Responsible for cultivating and growing Tempus partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients to support their R&D objectives through Tempus’ clinical trial offerings. Drive revenue growth for the TIME product line, negotiate with accounts, source leads, map stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional efforts across BD, product, and operations to deliver patient-centric trial options. Build relationships with R&D and commercial executives to identify and develop additional value-creation opportunities; employ an enterprise sales approach to engage influencers and decision-makers; stay informed on industry trends and regulatory developments; travel roughly 40% domestically and internationally. Requires a Bachelor degree in Science or Business and 7+ years in Life Sciences BD/sales; advanced degree (MBA/PhD/Healthcare certification) desired. Locations include Chicago, Boston, Redwood City, and New York City; roles are in-person at these offices. Minimum salary $120,000 and maximum $180,000; salary may vary by location. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years in Business Development and Sales in the Life Sciences (Pharma/Biotech) sector, including CROs or other service providers, with focus on clinical trial operations, patient recruitment or site selection
  • Bachelor degree in a Science or Business discipline; Advanced degree (MBA, PhD or Healthcare certification) desired
  • Strong understanding of the principles of clinical development and trial recruitment
  • Entrepreneurial sales approach; thrives most in a high growth, rapidly evolving business environment
  • Proven ability to navigate multi-faceted client organizations with repeated success
  • Excellent account management and stakeholder navigation skills
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration (BD, Alliance Management, Operations) and contract pull-through
  • Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally
  • Interest in oncology and cancer genomics
  • Deep relationships with pharmaceutical stakeholders
