Job Summary
Solutions Designer (Network) at PSP Investments responsible for the management, administration and evolution of the organization’s network and telecommunications infrastructure. Analyze functional and non-functional requirements, design network solutions, contribute to solution architecture documents, and present them for approvals. Administer and secure infrastructure, provide second- and third-level technical support, and participate in after-hours work as part of an operational team in a hybrid in-office/remote model in Montreal, Canada. The role requires collaboration with business lines, adherence to ITSM practices (CAB/change management), and strong knowledge of Cisco/Check Point technologies, VPN, DHCP, DNS, and Wi‐Fi.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of IT experience, including five (5) years in network administration in a Cisco and Check Point environment
- Experience in a large-scale IT environment, ideally in the financial or banking sectors
- Good knowledge of Cisco network components (routing, switching, firewall, etc.)
- Experience with Cisco and Check Point firewalls
- Enterprise Wi-Fi network components
- Network services such as site-to-site VPN, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Bilingualism: English and French
