Job Summary
Solutions Design IT Specialist – OFSAA Transaction Monitoring (AML Platforms) is accountable for the technical design, build, and stability of the OFSAA Transaction Monitoring platform supporting enterprise AML programs. The Tech Lead provides hands-on leadership across OFSAA, FCCM, ETL/IETL, Oracle DB, scheduling, and data pipelines, driving architecture decisions, resolving complex production incidents, and guiding engineering teams through platform changes, upgrades, and regulatory initiatives. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end technical architecture, defining standards for TM processing and data handling, leading hands-on engineering for TM jobs (ER, TM, reconciliation, validation), designing and maintaining AutoSys job flows, and providing deep technical guidance on Oracle SQL and performance tuning. Production support includes incident escalation, root-cause analysis, permanent fixes for recurring issues, and proactive risk remediation. Data quality controls, reconciliations, and ensuring data integrity across source systems, staging, and TM tables are emphasized. Change delivery and regulatory initiatives require leading technical delivery for scenario changes, testing, traceability, and audit readiness, with strong collaboration with AML stakeholders. Mentorship and technical leadership involve guiding engineers, reviewing code and designs, and interfacing with regulators/auditors as needed. The role expects a stable, high-performing OFSAA TM platform with governance understood across teams and faster, safer delivery of TM enhancements and regulatory commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle OFSAA Transaction Monitoring / FCCM TM
- Deep understanding of TM batch processing, entity resolution, alert generation, and lookbacks
- Advanced Oracle SQL, performance tuning, partitioning, and database troubleshooting
- Experience with AutoSys or equivalent enterprise schedulers
- Experience with ETL / IETL / Informatica, file ingestion, and reconciliation frameworks
- Solid understanding of Linux scripting, batch operations, and production support tooling
- Delivery & Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex, cross-platform technical problems under production pressure
- Experience leading technical design and delivery in large, regulated environments
- Strong documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Preferred: cloud modernization of OFSAA TM workloads
- Experience with regulators/auditors from a tech perspective
- Experience mentoring engineers and vendor teams
