Job Summary
Public Sector Solutions Consultant role focused on transforming government customer experiences with Zendesk’s AI-powered platform. You’ll lead technical and business discovery, articulate AI-driven CX and ES solutions, own end-to-end technical engagements from qualification through pilot execution, and architect secure, scalable integrations using Zendesk APIs, middleware, and cloud platforms. You’ll collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align customer needs with product roadmaps, measure ROI with analytics, drive AI adoption, and stay ahead on AI, automation, and FedSLED-relevant compliance. The role emphasizes consulting, storytelling, and cross-functional influence, with travel as required and a hybrid in-person/remote work model across global offices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of presales experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience designing and executing customer pilots and proofs of concept
- Ability to conduct basic ROI discovery and use standardized TCO/ROI templates
- Understanding of AI technologies (LLMs, ChatGPT, NLP) and their practical applications in CX
- Domain knowledge in CCaaS, Customer Service software, ITSM, Business Intelligence, Workforce Management, or Integration & Middleware
- Strong analytical and storytelling abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
- Strongly Desired: Federal, State, Local, and Education (FSLED) compliance awareness (HIPAA, CJIS, FERPA, FedRAMP)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (graduate degree a plus)
