Job Summary

Solutions Consultant at Palo Alto Networks responsible for technical leadership in a customer’s security transformation, defining technical solutions across the PANW portfolio, and ensuring value realization of investments. You’ll conduct discovery, position and demonstrate high-level designs, drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform, and lead technical validation efforts. You’ll collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialists to ensure successful implementation, lead cross-functional efforts, and build relationships with key stakeholders to drive a security-architecture roadmap and competitive differentiation. Travel to meet with customers for in-person meetings may be required. Role emphasizes cross-platform solutions, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
  • Experience in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE
  • Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
  • Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders; prior experience in pre-sales role is ideal
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
  • Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing at least one of: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
  • Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions
  • Experience in complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions
  • Willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings (field sales)
