Job Summary
Director-level Solutions Architecture role leading systems engineering, technical strategy, solutioning, and enterprise architecture across a federal program portfolio, with emphasis on cloud modernization, governance, and compliance. Responsibilities include leading solution development for internal/external stakeholders, applying Theios AI capabilities, coordinating with government leaders and cross-functional teams, driving technical proposal development and writing, modeling and lifecycle engineering using ARIS/Cameo/DOORS, establishing enterprise architecture standards, and delivering scalable, secure, and resilient AWS-based solutions (GovCloud preferred) aligned to FedRAMP, NIST RMF, and DOW policy. Requires strong written/oral communication, leadership of cross-functional teams, experience with federal agencies, and ability to work remotely within the US.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 12+ years in solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or systems engineering
- Experience supporting DOW or Federal Civilian agencies
- Demonstrated expertise in written and oral communications to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated management experience in technical and cross functional teams
- Strong expertise in: Enterprise architecture frameworks (DOWAF, TOGAF)
- ARIS modeling (required, primary platform)
- Cloud architecture (AWS required)
- Data architecture and integration
- Experience with Cameo, DOORS (required familiarity)
- Experience with Teamcenter and Windchill (preferred)
- Demonstrated success in technical writing and proposal development
- Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
