Job Summary
Solutions Architect with strong Java/JVM experience to design end-to-end, scalable, secure enterprise architectures. Partners with product and engineering to translate requirements into technical designs, guide implementation, and ensure high-quality delivery. Responsibilities include developing core services and integrations in Java/Spring, guiding large-scale application development, defining architecture standards, designing RESTful APIs and event-driven data synchronization, evaluating technology choices, ensuring non-functional requirements (security, scalability, observability, resilience, disaster recovery), and collaborating with DevOps/SRE on CI/CD and deployment readiness. Lead architecture and design reviews, mentor engineers, identify risks, and drive mitigation with stakeholders. Preferred experience includes cloud platforms, containers, messaging, IAM/security, observability tooling, and familiarity with Office 365 and SSO providers. Required Qualifications
- Strong Java proficiency (JVM, Spring/Spring Boot)
- Experience designing large-scale enterprise applications with integrations
- Ability to translate business requirements into solution architectures
- Experience producing architecture artifacts (diagrams, contracts, design docs)
- Understanding of distributed systems, caching, concurrency, resiliency patterns
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to write clean, tested code
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps collaboration
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferred: Azure/AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with event-driven design and messaging
- Observability tooling (APM, logging, tracing)
- Office 365 / Okta or SSO familiarity
- Ability to lead architecture reviews and mentor engineers
