Job Summary
Lead design, development, and implementation of enterprise technology solutions for a federal government contract. Develop solution roadmaps, reference architectures, and implementation strategies; provide technical leadership throughout the system development lifecycle; ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and governance requirements; design cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectures; conduct technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and architecture reviews; collaborate with program managers, engineers, cybersecurity teams, and government stakeholders; develop architecture documentation, diagrams, technical specifications, and presentations; support proposal development, technical responses, and solution demonstrations when required; identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT architecture, software development, or systems engineering roles
- Experience supporting federal, state, or local government programs
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions in a professional services environment
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, Zero Trust architectures, and secure system design
- Experience with system integration, APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
