Job Summary
Lead the client-side execution of the greenfield SAP S/4HANA modernization by serving as the senior technical authority to the System Integrator's data lead. Review and challenge the migration approach to mitigate unnecessary risk, cost, and operational burden while advising on architecture for non-SAP source systems. Own the daily workstream coordination, run working sessions with data owners, and drive open actions to closure. Set cleansing standards, monitor mock load cycles, and independently surface data quality risks such as missing legacy concepts or silent data loss. Ensure compliance with data classification policies and regulatory frameworks, maintain the cutover plan, and provide status reporting to program leadership. Support hypercare activities post go live.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- 15+ years leading enterprise SAP data migration workstreams
- at least 4 full lifecycle S/4HANA programs delivered end to end
- experience running the data workstream from inside a major System Integrator
- client side advisory work
- direct, hands on experience migrating from non-SAP sources (Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, or custom systems) into SAP
- hands on exposure to at least one regulated compliance framework (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or FedRAMP) applied to data migration controls
- 15+ years leading enterprise SAP data migration workstreams
- at least 4 full lifecycle S/4HANA programs delivered end to end
- Must have worked the data migration workstream from inside a major System Integrator
- client side advisory work
- Must have direct, hands on experience migrating from non-SAP sources (Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, or custom systems) into SAP
- Must have hands on exposure to at least one regulated compliance framework (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or FedRAMP) applied to data migration controls
Desired Qualifications
- greenfield preferred
- Prior experience with Oracle EBS as the source system
- Familiarity with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), Databricks, or Snowflake as staging/reconciliation environments
- SAP certifications (S/4HANA, Data Migration, or comparable)
- Experience in audit heavy sectors such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, pharma, or government
