Job Summary
Solutions Architect for Microsoft ecosystem leading a senior, account-dedicated engagement in Latin America with remote-first delivery. 70% architectural leadership and 30% hands-on contribution, owning end-to-end architecture for an enterprise engagement centered on agentic AI, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric integration. Set long-term technical direction, design for multi-tenant deployment, maintain architectural decision records, and ensure reproducibility. Design the agentic surface (tool calling, multi-turn orchestration, state management), integrate with semantic models and data estate, and define evaluation and observability strategies for LLM components. Architect the cloud environment, security reviews, identity, and consent architecture, and drive DevOps, CI/CD, and automated onboarding. Hands-on contributions to agent orchestration, retrieval pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment practices. Mentorship and influence across Upstart13’s engineering team and client stakeholders; communicate architectural decisions to executives. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years software engineering with architectural responsibilities
- Backend and API development with Python (FastAPI)
- React frontend experience
- Experience designing agentic AI systems (tool calling, multi-turn orchestration)
- Azure AI services (AI Foundry, Azure AI Search) and agent orchestration in Python
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI semantic models, and DAX
- Azure architecture knowledge (Container Apps, Container Registry, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, App Insights)
- Experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, source control)
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep or ARM templates)
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Cloud security, RBAC, governance (least-privilege)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to operate in a client-embedded environment
- Ability to navigate ambiguity
