Solutions Architect (Lakebase)

Job Summary
The Solutions Architect (Lakebase) role partners with an Account Executive to design and deliver strategy, presentations, and assets across assigned accounts to drive adoption of the Lakebase product line. Responsibilities include collaborating with GTM leadership to design high-impact engagement strategies, acting as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders, enabling clients at scale through workshops and customer-facing collateral, and translating field-derived insights into roadmap recommendations for Product and Engineering. The candidate will handle complex technical challenges in mission-critical environments, collaborate with GSIs and third-party consultants, and demonstrate proficiency in SQL/Python and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). A technical undergraduate degree and 6+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting capacity are expected.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives and driving high-level data strategy and product adoption
- Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate in a highly coordinated, cross-functional effort across GTM and R&D teams
- Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organizations to drive customer outcomes
- Proficient in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development, and streaming
- Undergraduate degree (or higher) in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or similar
- A track record of driving complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
