Job Summary

Define reusable integration patterns between WebMD Ignite products and the Epic platform for campaign management, patient portals, FHIR-based data exchange, and emerging AI use cases. Serve as the senior technical point of contact for Epic-related client engagements, leading discovery, integration design, and delivery to speed onboarding and de-risk active opportunities. Track the Epic release calendar and major announcements to translate product implications before clients ask, while monitoring partner-program requirements to strengthen ecosystem positioning. Ensure all integrations meet HIPAA and PHI-handling requirements within HITRUST frameworks. Raise Epic fluency across engineering through enablement and documentation. This senior, client-facing role establishes Epic fluency as a durable capability for WebMD Ignite's growth partner strategy in healthcare.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare systems integration
  • hands-on experience with the Epic platform
  • Deep Epic platform knowledge
  • campaign and contact management
  • the patient portal
  • patient communications
  • Epic integration technologies (for example Interconnect and Bridges)
  • familiarity with Epic's AI direction
  • Strong command of healthcare interoperability standards
  • HL7 FHIR (R4)
  • SMART on FHIR
  • HL7 v2
  • C-CDA
  • REST APIs
  • Strong working knowledge of the healthcare industry
