Job Summary
Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard images, helping customers build securely with open source software across their organization. Partner with account teams to understand customer goals and drive account strategies, value realization, and retention. Act as "customer zero" by testing, documenting, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience while maintaining the highest quality standards. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface customer requirements and prioritize solutions, while maintaining account-level architecture documentation and sharing best practices. This role requires 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes and containers, plus 2+ years in a customer-facing position. The position offers up to $165,000 base salary plus bonus and equity.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications
- strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes and containers
- 2+ years in a pre or post-sales customer-facing role
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for a range of audiences - from engineers to executives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of software development processes, practices, and engineering design concepts
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams and business partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
