Job Summary
Design end-to-end technical solutions leveraging Axon 911's call handling systems for government and private sector clients, including pre-sales consulting, delivery activities, and complex deployment scoping. Write technical specifications, system designs, and flow diagrams while collaborating with R&D and the CTO on research for integration technologies. Prepare model RFPs and responses, build sales materials, and provide hands-on assistance with detailed design and implementation approaches. Demonstrate product leadership by ensuring customer engagements align with implementation best practices and assist delivery teams with code development and issue resolution. Work with regional partners to scope multi-product deployments involving networks and third-party integrations, requiring 50% travel and flexibility across global time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a technical role in the public safety industry
- Architectural mindset – the ability to view the solution in multiple levels and from multiple viewpoints
- Extensive experience in a Professional Services environment engaging with executive stakeholders, solution architects, and extended program teams
- Vast experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Platform and Automation
- Experience with cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS) / platform as a service (PaaS), microservices, and Docker containers
- Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and designing and implementing solutions
- Fundamental experience with Cisco collaboration solutions, deployment, and best practices
- Proven knowledge and experience in networking and full knowledge of the OSI model and deep understanding of 1-7 Network Layers
- Deep understanding and knowledge in VoIP and Streaming Technologies: SIP, RTSP, RTMP, SIP-to-PSTN gateways, SIP Trunk, WebRTC
- Experience with configuring routers and firewalls
- Must be flexible to work with global teams and working on different time zones
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
