Job Summary
Solutions Architect role at Applaudo focused on translating business objectives into scalable architecture designs. Lead technical discovery sessions, design scalable architectures, translate requirements into architecture briefs and implementation approaches, and deliver solution proposals to technical and executive audiences. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to drive opportunities, support pre-sales activities, and mentor junior architects. Must have hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud), strong software development background across mobile, web, or cloud platforms, excellent client-facing communication, and willingness/ability to travel ~10%. Advanced English required with experience working with US-based clients. Hybrid work arrangement in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, Partner/Sales Engineer, or Solutions Engineer
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong background in software development for mobile, web, or cloud platforms, including deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to lead deep technical discovery sessions and translate business objectives into scalable, flexible technical solutions
- Experience estimating time, effort, cost, and team sizing for new engagements and RFPs
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and C-Level executives
- Collaborative mindset and mentoring junior architects
- Advanced English level
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
