Job Summary
Solutions Architect at Akuity serving as the primary technical liaison for prospective and existing customers. Lead technical discovery, deliver architecture walkthroughs and live demos of the Akuity Platform and GitOps best practices, provide outstanding technical support across channels, troubleshoot Kubernetes/Argo CD issues, develop tooling and automation to extend the platform, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sales to influence the roadmap. Represent Akuity at conferences and community events, contribute to open-source projects, and apply deep hands-on Kubernetes, Argo CD, and cloud-native experience. Must have 3+ years at the intersection of development and operations, hands-on Kubernetes across cloud providers and/or on-prem, Argo CD expertise, software engineering skills (Go, Rust, Java, Python, TypeScript), strong GitOps/CI/CD understanding, and excellent communication. Nice to have open-source maintenance experience, Argo Workflows/Rollouts/Events familiarity, Terraform/Helm/Kustomize knowledge, identity management and enterprise security patterns, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
