Required Qualifications
- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (required)
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred, or within 6 months)
- 5+ base in IT infrastructure or cloud architecture
- 2+ years hands-on with AWS
- 2 completed VMware-to-AWS migration projects
- Familiarity with VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter) and enterprise application dependencies
- Core AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM
- Infrastructure as Code: CloudFormation or Terraform
- Migration tools: AWS Application Migration Service
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing
- Scripting: Python, PowerShell, or Bash; Windows and Linux OS knowledge
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (required)
- AWS Transform, VMware VCP, Amazon Bedrock/SageMaker, containerization, DevOps/CI/CD, hybrid/multi-cloud experience
- Additional AWS certifications
