Job Summary
Support, develop, and maintain reusable component libraries in Medini Analyze for safety analysis across ADI product families. Work with Safety Specialists to standardize analysis templates and translate product architectures into parameterized components that improve consistency and reduce setup time. Engage with tool vendors on capability evaluation and user community activities while supporting the development of role-based training content for FMEDA execution and safety case construction. Collaborate globally with engineering teams to deliver enablement assets that scale safety engineering workflows. This role offers a structured path into functional safety with mentoring from experienced specialists and progressive project exposure to build the tooling infrastructure that shapes how safety engineering scales across the portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor design engineering, quality engineering, systems engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor product development processes and lifecycle.
- Experience with structured analytical methods used in product development such as FMEA, design verification, characterization, simulation, or reliability analysis.
- Experience building reusable technical assets such as component libraries, parameterized templates, structured analysis workflows, or design tools.
- Strong technical communication skills with the ability to translate complex methods into clear, usable guidance for engineering teams.
- Self-directed work style suited to a globally distributed team spanning multiple countries and time zones.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%, primarily to ADI sites in Europe and the US.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with safety analysis methods specifically (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA) including failure mode identification and classification.
- Experience with Synopsys-Ansys Medini Analyze or comparable safety analysis tools (Isograph, ReliaSoft, APIS IQ, Safety Office).
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508) at a conceptual level.
- Direct certification is not required.
- Experience developing training content, structured knowledge management systems, or technical curricula.
- Familiarity with automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949 or development process standards such as ASPICE.
