Job Summary
Solution Specialist responsible for driving new revenue in a remote North America territory through outside/field and phone-based prospecting, setting appointments, and presenting Shift4 Point of Sale solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting merchants, in-person and virtual meetings, developing new accounts and growth opportunities, upselling hardware, software, and professional services, building and maintaining a sales pipeline, explaining value to merchants, and achieving sales quotas. Requires hunter mentality, comfort with a fast-paced sales cycle, CRM proficiency, and experience in door-to-door/outside sales; hospitality or restaurant experience is a plus. Must establish professional relationships, qualify opportunities, and sign new logos while aligning with company policies and ongoing product knowledge. Attends weekly pipeline and forecast reviews and maintains regular communication with the direct manager.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to cold-call and set meetings with potential clients in-person
- Willingness to close deals in a fast pace sales cycle
- Entrepreneurial spirit and hunter-like mentality
- Computer and smartphone literacy
- Background in door-to-door/outside sales experience
- Ability to meet sales quotas
- CRM experience
- Restaurant hospitality experience a plus
