Job Summary
Solution Executive, Competency will lead new sales of HealthStreams Competency solutions, acting as the clinical sales expert. Drive complex solution sales by aligning customer clinical and business needs with HealthStream’s competency portfolio through consultative selling, building relationships with key stakeholders, and managing the full sales process from prospecting to contract closing to meet or exceed quota. Responsibilities include adhering to security policies, analyzing market opportunities, acquiring deep knowledge of solution components, collaborating with Account Managers to craft sales strategies, targeting competitors, presenting ROI/Value propositions via Teams/WebEx and in person, and creating annual business plans aligned to quota. Requires a Bachelor's or higher (Nursing BSN strongly preferred), at least 5 years of healthcare sales experience, familiarity with CRM tools, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Teams/WebEx proficiency, ability to travel 25-40%, and a comfort with hybrid work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher required
- Nursing Degree, BSN level or higher, strongly preferred
- Consultative selling experience with a track record of at least 5 years of healthcare sales
- PaaS/SaaS experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare marketplace, including buying cycles, key trends, and budget limitations
- Strong presentation skills and executive presence
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop C-Suite and VP level stakeholder relationships
- Comfortable working independently and in a team selling environment
- Ability to travel 25-40%
