Job Summary
Partner with Channel Account Managers to support pre-sales conversations with Managed Service Providers and deliver technical demonstrations for Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Gemini, and related solutions. Support partners with post-sale deployment, configuration guidance, and technical validation while acting as a subject matter expert for Google solutions across the Australia region. Collaborate with sales, vendor, and partner teams to grow Google capability and create confidence through enablement, technical advocacy, and practical thought leadership. Stay self-directed as the Google ecosystem evolves to establish and strengthen Pax8's technical presence in the region.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive pre-sales technical experience in a Solutions Engineer, Solution Architect or similar technical customer-facing role
- Proven experience working with Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Gemini or the wider Google ecosystem
- Considerable cloud technology knowledge, with experience in platforms such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
- Confidence presenting technical concepts in a clear, engaging and practical way
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn quickly and build expertise through self-directed learning
- A collaborative style, with the ability to work well across sales, technical, vendor and partner teams
- Experience supporting Managed Service Providers, channel partners or technology resellers
- The ability to turn complex technical ideas into simple, partner-friendly conversations
- Full-time working rights in Australia
- Valid right to work in Australia
