Solution Engineer Intern

Job Summary

Support sales and solution engineers in customer interactions to understand technical needs and automation requirements. Work alongside the sales and partner teams to analyze customer requirements and deliver specific solutions. Test and validate product integrations across various platforms to ensure seamless functionality. Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases. Develop and maintain customized integrations to enhance product capabilities. Document integration configurations, best practices, and technical solutions. Support teams in Proof of Concepts, including answering RFI documents. This six-month internship includes three days onsite and two days remote in Alpharetta, GA, with Monday through Friday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR working toward a degree in those fields
  • Experience with Python programming, including writing scripts and developing integrations
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or OpenStack
  • Basic knowledge of database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Exposure to web application servers (e.g., Tomcat) and programming languages such as Java or shell scripting
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose technical issues and develop creative solutions
  • Eagerness to learn complex systems and quickly apply new technical concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit for working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to team success
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a technical sales engineering environment
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting
  • Fluency in English

Desired Qualifications

  • exposure to containers or virtualization technologies
  • Mainframe or IBM iSeries experience
