Job Summary

Solutions Engineer (Germany) at Talkdesk focused on pre-sales engineering, solution qualification and execution, and post-sale upsell in AI-powered CX. Responsible for understanding customer needs, providing business-centric consulting to prospects and existing customers, addressing C-level discussions, and differentiating Talkdesk solutions from the competition. Requires strong collaboration across teams, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to navigate both virtual and live environments. Travel to internal meetings and customer sites is expected (approximately 20-50%). Core competencies include AI-powered CX, customer service software, BI, and workforce engagement management. Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years in Solutions Engineering in related AI/SaaS fields are preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field; or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Solutions Engineering experience in a related AI and/or SaaS field
  • 2+ years of related industry experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation and writing skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Superior presentation skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Customer Service Software, Business Intelligence, Workforce Engagement Management, Artificial Intelligence
  • Must be willing to travel (travel estimate 20-50%)
