Job Summary
The Senior Solution Engineer at DTN will specialize in providing industry and technical expertise to support sales initiatives in the Agriculture sector. Responsibilities include collaborating with account-assigned sales professionals to close sales of strategic, complex products; utilizing in-depth product knowledge to deliver technical expertise; preparing detailed product specifications; and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. Ideal candidates will have experience in technical sales, particularly with enterprise customers, and a deep understanding of the utilities and SaaS industries.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the utilities industry
- 5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in a Solution Engineer, pre-sales, technical sales, or solution delivery role
- Ability to provide technical expertise through sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Strong commercial acumen
- Knowledge of challenges businesses face when adopting SaaS solutions
