Job Summary
Direct subordinate managers and professional staff to execute solution development, creating and reviewing technical assessments, rough order of magnitudes, and high-level requirements for assigned projects. Collaborate with customer-facing organizations to produce final specifications and work with engineers to maintain the overall software and architecture roadmap. Drive execution through resource allocation, decision-making consensus, and monitoring of team success metrics. Requires proven experience shipping commercial software or building production cloud services, ideally managing teams of 5-15 direct reports. Must be able to read code around .NET and Python, with experience in Azure, microservices, CI/CD, and observability. Full-time monthly salary of 7,080,00 - 9,500,00 € plus 15% bonus. Hybrid work model (3 days onsite/2 days flexible) in Lithuania.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience shipping commercial software or building production cloud services
- Ideally 2-5 experience in managing software engineering teams of 5-15 direct reports
- Must be able to read code (not write) typically around .NET, & Python
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and service-based or microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, observability, testing, and operationally reliable software delivery
- Strong technical judgment, communication skills, and ability to drive alignment across stakeholders
- Agile mindset and collaborative work style
