Job Summary
Develop high-level and detailed solution designs for ICT and business initiatives, translating complex requirements into practical technology options. Collaborate with application specialists, infrastructure, cloud operations, and security teams to prepare designs for stakeholder, governance, and peer review while providing technical leadership to delivery teams. Work closely with business stakeholders to determine appropriate solution architectures within enterprise standards, and contribute to solution design standards, templates, and strategies. Mentor team members and share knowledge across the ICT Solution Architecture group to support the University's teaching, research, and strategic priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience developing and documenting high-level and detailed solution designs
- Strong understanding of applications, application integration, technology stacks and cloud environments
- Understanding of non-functional requirements and how they influence solution design, including security considerations
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
- Experience working across complex ICT projects and managing competing priorities within agreed timeframes
- Experience working in both agile and waterfall delivery environments
- A relevant postgraduate qualification and/or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment
