Job Summary
Analyze customer needs and design optimal intralogistics automation solutions for pallets and bins, considering throughput, space, and budget constraints. Consult with clients and internal teams to develop winning concepts, creating detailed technical documentation including solution layouts and system architectures. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and external partners to ensure feasibility and seamless project execution while maintaining strong relationships with technical contacts. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solution offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Completed studies in Engineering or a related technical field
- Proven experience in solution design, system integration, or technical consulting within the automation or intralogistics industry
- In-depth understanding of automated intralogistics solutions for pallets and bins, including AS/RS systems, AGVs/AMRs, shuttle solutions, conveyor technologies, picking systems, and their appropriate applications in different industries and warehouse environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and develop optimal solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in 3D layouting with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CET Designer) and simulation tools (sim3D, Plantsim)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to travel within the region
- Fluency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Strong network of contacts in the intralogistics automation market is a plus
- German is a plus
