Job Summary
Maersk Solution Design Engineer responsible for designing and proposing warehousing solutions (including layouts, resource calculations, IT requirements, and operational processes) to support contract logistics opportunities in Europe. Leads development of new logistics concepts and value propositions, ensures pre- and post-sales engagement with commercial, solutions, pricing and operations teams, and acts as a Subject Matter Expert to safeguard operational viability of solutions in the sales process. Requires deep knowledge of international supply chains, data-driven analysis, warehousing technologies (WMS), regulatory and security compliance, and ability to share best practices across Europe."
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in International Supply Chains
- Strong understanding of value drivers in supply chain
- Data-driven approach to translate analysis into actionable solutions
- Strong WND operational background with knowledge of warehousing technologies
- Comprehensive understanding of WMS requirements
- Ability to collaborate in a matrix, multi-cultural organization
- Agile mindset and ability to work in a high pace environment
