Job Summary
Analyze order, inventory, and SKU data to support facility layout and solution development. Generate productivity, capacity, and space estimates for business development and RFPs. Execute front-end concepting including layout development, automation ideation, and high-level system modeling. Create CAD drawings, cost estimates, and presentation materials to support engineering recommendations and customer proposals. Conduct feasibility studies to determine ROI on proposed solutions. Consult with operations personnel to validate practical, cost-effective, and implementable solutions. Collaborate with integrators and vendors to evaluate automation approaches and solution alternatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
- Three to five years of experience in warehousing and distribution
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of management from supervisory to executive management level
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
