Job Summary
Lead business and technical discovery to uncover customer requirements, pain points, and success criteria. Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations while fostering relationships with third-party vendors to enhance solution offerings. Own proof-of-concept engagements, including scoping and success criteria, and respond to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires. Act as the technical voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering, handling objections on architecture, security, and integrations. Partner with Account Executives on account strategy and deal planning, providing feedback based on customer insights and competitor analysis. Contribute to internal enablement by training sales teams on demo positioning and helping standardize best practices. Travel up to 20% for client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role
- Must be a compelling, passionate, and enthusiastic speaker
- Fluent in English
- Travel: up to 20%
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred understanding of knowledge in technical areas such as (UCaaS, CCaaS, CRM, SIP, VOIP, AI, APIs, Automation Services) and common integration patterns (Workato, Redox..)
- Familiarity with Nextiva's competitive landscape (e.g., RingCentral, Five9, Genesys, Zoom)
- Fundamental knowledge of Python, JSON, HTML CSS, and JavaScript
- Use AI to enhance personal workflows, leverages multiple AI tools based on their strengths, identifies repetitive tasks for automation, and shares best practices to drive team growth
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, develop new processes, and adapt to new technology
- Bonus would be knowledge in areas such as Data Security & Privacy (HIPAA, PCI, GDPR)
- Bonus knowledge in Spanish or French
- Bonus knowledge in Lucidchart, Google Dialogflow, Teams, WhatsApp, Google G-Suite
