Job Summary
Design end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms and services, defining secure onboarding, integration, and sharing patterns. Lead architecture discussions with stakeholders to shape target architectures, security models, and operational frameworks aligned with business objectives. Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications while driving governance across the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data management requirements through GCP-based service design including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and networking components. Define infrastructure-as-code and automation approaches to support technical decision-making during implementation.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or cloud architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data integration solutions
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking and security architecture
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation practices
- Understanding of enterprise security, governance and compliance requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in banking or financial services
- Knowledge of data products or data governance frameworks
- Experience working within large enterprise cloud transformation programmes
- Familiarity with DataOps and platform engineering concepts
