Job Summary
Build and update customer quotes and proposals in ConnectWise CPQ by importing bills of materials, scope-of-work content, and manufacturer information. Format quote layouts based on sales direction, edit content through the review cycle, and sync completed quotes to NetSuite for downstream processing. Support Account Managers and sales teams with quote management, request distributor quote details, and maintain accuracy under deadline pressure. This administrative role requires travel to Sentinel office locations in Grand Rapids, MI; Brighton, MI; Milwaukee, WI; Greenwood Village, CO; Downers Grove, IL; and Tempe, AZ. Candidates must own a car with valid insurance and demonstrate strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow structured sales, quoting, and approval processes
- Strong typing, written communication and document formatting skills
- Comfortable managing multiple quote requests and changing priorities
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must be able to work with multiple areas of the business: sales, technical, and operations teams
- Must have excellent follow up skills in seeking more details when quote inputs are incomplete
- Able to maintain accuracy under deadline pressure
- Customer-service oriented
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude
- Must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior hands-on experience using ConnectWise to build, edit and manage customer facing quotes
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite
- Prior experience with VAR, MSP, systems integrator, technology reseller, distributor, or manufacturer
- Familiarity with technology manufacturers such as Cisco, Dell, Microsoft, NetApp, VMware, Splunk, Meraki, Pure Storage, or similar manufacturers
- Familiarity with manufacturer/distributor quote requests, registrations, renewals, SaaS quotes, hardware quotes, and services quotes
