Job Summary
Solution Architect – Retail Consulting at o9. Lead the complete lifecycle of implementing o9’s AI-powered planning solutions for retailers, from design to delivery across industries and geographies. Translate customer requirements into blueprint, configure the platform to address core retail planning domains (Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment, Retail Forecasting), and supervise a team to implement, test, go-live, and train end users and super users. Collaborate with customers to resolve issues, perform defect tracking and analysis, and contribute to product features based on feedback. Strong emphasis on workshops with business owners, data analysis, and stakeholder management, with a focus on end-to-end implementation, global deployments, and value realization.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8+ years of experience with implementing planning applications for Retail Industry is a MUST
- Hands on experience with implementing solutions for one or more key retail planning processes such as Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment and Retail Forecasting
- Deep experience in end-to-end lifecycle of implementation; phases such as blueprinting, configuration, testing, go -live
- Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar is desirable
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
- Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain
- Patient listener with the ability clearly articulate your viewpoint to manage and deliver to customer expectations, even under pressure
- Ability to analyze and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is key
- Ability to simplify complexity
- Good to have certifications in retail planning, supply chain planning, TOGAF
- Experience with leading workshops with functional and business owners to document requirements
- Experience configuring and delivering end-to-end solutions within o9’s platform
- Experience in training end users and super users
- Experience supporting customer demonstrations
- Mentoring junior team members
- Ability to work in a globally distributed customer environment
