Job Summary
Solution Architect responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise software solutions. Leads architectural decisions, provides technical leadership across front-end, back-end, APIs, and integration layers, defines standards, guides teams on architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support, and collaborates with business partners to translate requirements into robust technical designs. Emphasizes alignment with enterprise standards, CI/CD practices, observability, and continuous improvement while delivering high-quality, architecturally sound solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 8 to 12+ years of progressive software development experience
- 2 to 4+ years of experience providing technical leadership, solution design, or architecture guidance
- Strong full-stack development experience across front-end, back-end, APIs, data, and integration layers
- Hands-on experience with Python, Node.js, JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, or other modern languages
- Experience with modern web application frameworks and service-oriented design
- Knowledge of RESTful services, SOA, and event-driven patterns where applicable
- Experience with relational databases and strong SQL
- CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality, version control, release management
- Containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes
- Cloud-native development and deployment
- Application monitoring, logging, observability, troubleshooting, and production support
- Secure development practices and enterprise architecture standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders, translate requirements to technical designs, and manage delivery expectations
- Proven track record delivering solutions across the SDLC
- Understanding of OTPP business objectives is an asset
