Job Summary
Define and execute the security architecture vision, strategy, and capability roadmaps for identity management, authentication, directory services, threat vulnerability management, system audit, and governance. Create and evolve the security architecture function by analyzing business drivers, industry trends, and developing governance structures aligned with IT strategies. Implement ongoing refinement activities, publish security standards, and act as a sounding board for IT and business leaders on security solutions. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partner with operations teams on long-term solutions including incident response and SCADA networks, and collaborate with physical security teams. Drive the future state of cyber security and compliance technologies while managing service providers and applying best practices across the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical (Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline) or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Technology and/or experience in Security capabilities
- Competency in Security practices across Business, Application, Information and Technical Architecture
- Experience developing future state architectures and a practical roadmap to get there
- Leadership in the space of information/data management, master data management data warehousing and business intelligence
- Working knowledge of NIST, CIP, NERC, FERC and other energy industry security stands and best practices
- Strong communication, influence and negotiation skills
- Ability to self-prioritize work effectively
- Open to extensive travel on short notice
Desired Qualifications
- Security certifications strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of business process re-engineering
- Experience with legacy and new computing architectures
- Experience developing multi-year strategic IT plans
- Experience applying ITIL
- Experience managing an effective reuse program across the enterprise
- Experience with managing service providers
