Job Summary
Solution Architect Manager, OneCore leading data-center-focused solution design and pre-sales efforts for Vertiv. Reports to the Director, Infrastructure Solutions Architects and coordinates with engineering, Pre-Sales, Bid Management, start-up and commissioning teams to advise customers on Vertiv OneCore offers, read RFP tender documents, interpret customer requirements, and apply specifications to data center design. Role includes regional responsibility with global coordination, 10-25% travel for customer engagements and trainings, and a strong emphasis on communication, proposal development, and delivering solution-based outcomes across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and related disciplines. Eligible for a salary range of CAD 125,000–165,000 per year in Mississauga, ON (Canada) with additional rewards and benefits; based on a 40-hour work week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of technical experience
- Proficient in Data Center design and the impact of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and BMS
- Understanding of relevant architectural and structural codes and standards
- Knowledgeable of AIA project phases for design, construction and commissioning
- Basic drafting and sketch capabilities (Revit experience preferred)
- Solution-based thinking that will incorporate a multitude of Mechanical and Electrical components to an end-customer deployment
- Excellent Communication Skills, both written and oral
- Excellent Organizational Skills & Time Management
- Ability to multi-task
- Self Motivated
- PC skills: Office 365 cross-functional platform Teams, SharePoint
- Prior management experience preferred
