Job Summary
Develop and evolve IT Network and IP Backbone architectures, translating technical requirements into validated network designs for the German Digitalfunk infrastructure. Analyze complex network dependencies, conduct independent troubleshooting of critical infrastructure issues, and implement sustainable solutions ensuring over 99.95% availability. Collaborate within Agile Release Trains using Scrum and SAFe principles to deliver secure communication systems supporting police, fire, and emergency services. Continuously optimize existing network processes and prepare the backbone for future LTE and 5G transitions.
Required Qualifications
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Nachrichtentechnik, Kommunikationstechnik oder eines vergleichbaren technischen Studiengangs
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im System Engineering sowie fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich IT Network / IP Backbone
- Umfangreiches und tiefgehendes Fachwissen im Bereich IP-Netzwerke, insbesondere: Netzwerkgrundlagen
- Routing- und Routingprotokolle
- Quality of Service (QoS)
- Netzwerkdesign
- IPsec und VPN-Technologien
- Kenntnisse im Bereich Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Zertifikate und Authentifizierung
- Nachweisbare Erfahrung im Bereich Netzwerktechnologien, idealerweise ergänzt durch Zertifizierungen wie Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper, Fortinet oder vergleichbare Herstellerzertifizierungen
- Selbstständige, strukturierte und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise sowie hohe Problemlösungskompetenz
- Ausgeprägte Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit sowie Freude an der Zusammenarbeit in interdisziplinären Teams
- Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity
