Job Summary
Design and own technical and functional architecture artifacts for HealthShare customers, producing input for Statements of Work and delivery planning. Leverage InterSystems product lines including IRIS, Health Connect, and HealthShare to develop design requirements and functional specifications. Advise Sales on product fit and assist Project Managers with timeline and effort estimates for implementation projects. Work collaboratively with customers to ensure technical designs meet use cases, oversee partner code reviews, and manage source control. Provide technical support for custom developments, interfaces, and data manipulation routines while developing site-specific software. Install HealthShare, assist with benchmarking, and produce collateral such as white papers and case studies. Develop customer-facing training plans and advise clients on configuration and infrastructure best practices.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years experience with enterprise software development, design and delivery
- Personal presence and Healthcare industry expertise to establish yourself as a trusted advisor to development, delivery managers and senior technical staff
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proven business analysis and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrable solution delivery experience including functional/technical ownership
- Good knowledge of deployment of an integration platform such as HealthShare, InterSystems IRIS Interoperability, Health Connect, IRIS for Health or others
- Strong, practical knowledge of HL7, CCD, FHIR, X12 and other existing healthcare data interchange standards. Exposure to emerging standards
- Experience of InterSystems HealthShare
- Knowledge with payers, providers, HIEs, IDNs, and other healthcare industries
- MS in a science or engineering degree
